The foundation "Denk an mich" is the solidarity foundation of Swiss Radio and Television SRF, which supports and enables vacation and leisure activities for people with disabilities. For over 50 years, it has been committed to barrier-free leisure activities in Switzerland. The aim is to give people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in social life in a self-determined way.
All people want to enjoy their lives and be part of society. This includes holidays and leisure activities. However, many people with disabilities cannot afford to take time off. The Denk an mich foundation closes this gap, provides financial support and thus creates a piece of quality of life.*

Denk an mich wanted a new branding with a refreshed web presence for their website. KARGO's new inspiring design fully meets today's requirements of the digital world and gives the foundation a modern and attractive appearance. novu was responsible for the technical part of the project: Implementation of the website and technical consulting.
Denk an mich wanted a simple and intuitive donation process and at the same time flexible information about the foundation's diverse fields. This was to be implemented with a modular, flexible and user-friendly CMS.
Donation stories & experience reports should be easy to manage and publish. Current topics should also be presented and integrated in various forms, such as podcasts, YouTube, events and much more.
In addition, a good accessibility of the website was an important criterion.
The website is extensive and offers several different types of pages and content. From donation forms to experience reports to podcasts, everything is there. At the same time, however, it is important to provide uncomplicated access to the information and contact points. Accessibility for the users of the Foundation's services and their relatives has become a focus and priority of the implementation.
One of the biggest challenges was the content structure of the various page types. Denk an mich wanted a flexible solution for an individual design of the different content pages. It should be possible for the client to edit and flexibly adapt the page structure and content independently in the CMS.
The solution proposed by novu includes a modular and component-based system for the CMS: with over 20 components, from simple text modules to donation forms, the authors can continuously adapt the website. This makes it possible to enter completely new content. Donations are processed via RaiseNow; gift certificates are automatically generated for donated items - a fantastic gift!
The project was implemented with a headless architecture. The modern Javascript framework Vue.js and the Nuxt.js based on it were used for the frontend part. The Statamic CMS, which is based on the Laravel framework, provides the data. Statamic is intuitive, component-based and easily expandable. A good and suitable solution for the various needs of Denk an mich.
The CMS we use, Statamic, has many advantages. It allows us to generate a live preview of the content to be published. So far, this is only possible with very few CMS solutions. The client can comfortably check his page with the correct layout and give feedback before the content is published.
The flexible handling of the content structure required CMS training for the Foundation's staff. The website was then published. Since then, new content has been added regularly: Podcasts, news articles, fundraising stories and much more. Further steps are already planned: The application form is to be migrated and embedded in the new design. A comprehensive blog will also soon find its place on the website.
