The "NRP Energy" portal is one of the final products of the two National Research Programmes 70 and 71. The portal summarises the more than 100 research projects and synthesises the most important findings on the basis of six thematic priorities.
Mandate
Not only did we conceptualise the entire portal, but we were also entrusted with the design of the platform. The implemented system is based on the idea of an index card where visitors can view clearly arranged profiles of different projects.
Attention to detail
The index cards are not only cleverly animated, the visitor can also save, share and search them using a modern Elastic Search. Navigational aids such as the animated bubbles have beean carefully created to provide an engaging and optimised design experience for every user.
The approximately 600 aesthetic graphics of the synthesis were all designed in-house.

This is a project novu has put all its energy into - the fact that the bubbles are not a "stored animation" but are physically calculated in the background, or that the flashcards offer a modern and unique reading experience - both aspects of this website are wonderful examples of the icing on the cake that is so important to novu.
