When is user testing needed
We believe that some form of user testing is always needed. Of course, this depends on the complexity and budget of an individual software solution. User testing gives you information about user behavior by means of a prototype even before the final implementation. This way we evaluate the direction and the framework we define with the concept and involve real users in the process.
How does user testing work
Prior to user testing, hypotheses are made about user behavior. With a wireframe (clickable prototype) the user journey is presented and potential target groups can click, test and give feedback. Based on this, the original hypotheses can be validated and conclusions can be drawn as to whether adjustments, additions or further developments need to be made for the implementation phase. In this way, we create the empirical basis for an optimal user experience of your digital solution.
A/B Testing
Buttons on the right or left side, with or without an icon, more or fewer filter options in the online store - you have surely encountered these questions. The answer to them is provided by A/B Testing, also known as split testing. It's a powerful technique to compare two versions of a web page or design and determine which one works better. By presenting different versions to different user groups and measuring their reactions, we can make data-driven decisions.
